Meridian Sound Healing

It’s new. But it’s actually really, really old.

We’ve combined the 2,500 year old healing arts of China and Tibet with the modern science of sound-frequency therapy. A session on our sound therapy bed can bring vitality and energy to your life, using calming, natural sound waves to balance your body’s meridians.

What are meridians?

Traditional Chinese and Tibetan medical texts consider the meridians to be highly sensitive channels for positive and negative flow of energy, substances and information in the body. It is said that when blockages occur in your meridians due to sickness or excess stress, your body and mind become weak — and stimulating the meridians can restore your flow of energy back to optimal performance.

Healing you can really feel.

Specific sound frequencies tuned to the twelve principal meridians are played through a sound therapy bed directly into your body. The sound waves penetrate through your clothing and skin, deep into the muscles and tissues to stimulate the flow of vital energy. This is felt as a gentle, pleasant hum or vibration through the body during a session, and each session is about 30 minutes long.

Through our Bose® noise-cancelling headphones, you can enjoy your choice of audio programmes, from calming music to spoken guided imagery journeys. Above you, a starry night sky with northern lights is projected that casts a relaxing glow across your body. Purified ionized air and gentle aroma from natural Japanese evergreen oils help you breathe like you’re outside in the mountains.
